Market Rate IRA
This is a tiered IRA account, which means that as your deposit balance grows, you will be paid a higher dividend rate. This account is offered as a Roth, Traditional and Educational IRA. Minimum balance to open the account and earn dividends is $5.

If you choose the Roth or Traditional IRA type, you may make additional deposits up to $5,000 annually. If you are over 50 years old, you can contribute an additional $1,000.

If you choose the Educational IRA type, the program allows tax-free withdrawals for higher education expenses. Contributions can be made up to $2,000 per child per year until the child reaches age 18. The money you invest does not count against the maximum you may invest in your other IRAs.

IRA Share Certificate
Earn high certificate rates on your retirement savings with a minimum balance of $1,000. Terms range from 3 months to 5 years, and funds can be rolled over from another IRA or a qualified employer pension plan.

Additionally, the excessive transfer may be refused or reversed and the account may be reclassified or closed.
