It's all about people. At Valley Credit Union, that has been our philosophy since our founding as a not-for-profit institution in 1953. Although we have grown dramatically since then, we have held firmly to our roots by actively supporting the communities we serve.

Originally chartered to serve the people working in the telecommunications industry, Valley Credit Union now serves nearly 300 Select Employee Groups (SEGs) throughout the Bay Area and beyond. And through our field of membership expansion, individuals who live, work or worship in Santa Clara, Alameda and Contra Costa counties are all eligible to join Valley Credit Union.

Valley Credit Union joined the Citizens Equity First Credit Union (CEFCU) family in 2009, becoming Valley Credit Union, a division of CEFCU.
